About Me

My name is Janine Terry. I'm a fully qualified female driving instructor and have been teaching since 1997. I'm friendly, patient and punctual. I derive most of my work from past client recommendations. In 2002, I set up 1st Gear School of Motoring and have taught hundreds of people around Reading.

I also work as a trainer for the new BTEC in Driving Science course.

I provide all new drivers with a copy of the latest edition of the Highway Code free of charge.

I'm fully qualified with the following:

• Driving Standards Agency (DSA)
• Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
• Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RosPA Gold Grade)
• British Sign Language Level 2
• Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for teaching deaf and hard of hearing students
• Vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
• BTEC in Driving Science Trainer
